Bank transfer only

How payment works

Two payments, both invoiced in writing, both receipted. This page explains the mechanics — and, just as importantly, how to be certain the invoice in front of you actually came from us.

Read this before you send any money to anyone

A bank transfer, once sent, is usually gone for good. Breeders are impersonated constantly — scammers copy a real kennel's photographs, website text and name, then ask for a deposit. Our bank details appear in exactly one place: on your own invoice, hosted on this website. They never change. Before your first transfer, telephone us on the number in the footer and read the sort code and account number back to us. It takes two minutes and it is the single most effective thing you can do.

The two payments

Payment one

£400 deposit

Due after we have spoken and agreed you are on the list. Credited in full against the puppy's price — it is not an additional charge.

Payment two

Nothing further is due on go-home day. There are no handling, paperwork, or microchip fees.

£2,200 less your deposit

Every invoice we send has all five of these. If anything you receive is missing one, stop and telephone us before you do anything else.

First invoice only. Read the sort code and account number back to us. We would far rather spend two minutes on the phone than have you lose a deposit to somebody pretending to be us. If you are ever tricked into paying a fraudster, contact your bank immediately — UK banks are required to reimburse most authorised push payment fraud, but only if you report it.

What a genuine invoice from us looks like

An ordinary bank transfer from your banking app, quoting the reference. Faster Payments normally arrive within a couple of hours, though a first payment to a new payee is sometimes held longer. Your bank will run a Confirmation of Payee check — the name it shows you should match the account name on this invoice exactly.

  • It lives on our own website. The link starts with https://PLACEHOLDER — baidulux.co.uk/invoice/ — never a file attachment, never another domain, never a shortened link.
  • It has a unique payment reference, like BDX-2026-014-ATLAS. Put that reference on your transfer so we can match it to you straight away.
  • It names your puppy and your litter, and itemises everything, with the deposit shown as a credit on the balance invoice.
  • It shows the same bank details as the first one. They do not change, ever, part-way through.
  • It is not urgent. We give you a due date, not a deadline, and we will never tell you a puppy will be lost if you do not pay today.

It is not us if…

  • You are asked for gift cards, cryptocurrency, or a money transfer service.
  • You are offered delivery, or a meeting point. Under Lucy’s Law we cannot legally do either.
  • The account is in a name that is not ours, or a “third-party agent”.
  • An email says our bank details have changed. They have not. That message is fraud.
  • You are asked to pay before we have ever spoken on the telephone.
  • There is a separate charge for “shipping”, a crate, or insurance. We do not ship.
  • You are being hurried.

Step by step

1

We email you a link to your invoice

It opens a private page on this website. Only you have the link. The bank details and your payment reference are on it.

2

You telephone us and check

The button is on your invoice page. It tells us to start watching for the money, and it timestamps your end of the transaction.

3

You transfer the money

The same page turns into a dated, itemised paid receipt you can print or save. Keep it — it is your record of the transaction.

4

You press “I have sent the transfer”

Lost your invoice link? Telephone or email us and we will resend it. We can also read your payment reference back to you over the phone. Do not act on a link sent to you by anyone else, even if it looks exactly like ours.

5

We confirm when it lands, and your invoice becomes a receipt

Payment only ever comes after an application, a conversation, and an agreement. Nothing on this page applies until then.
